monitoring by Vortex Gas Turbine Services

Problem

Keeping gas turbine engines clean isn’t housekeeping—it’s performance science. Airborne dust, salt, oil mist, and industrial grime quietly sandblast efficiency, clog compressors, and invite corrosion where tolerances are unforgiving. Clean intake air protects blade profiles, preserves pressure ratios, and keeps heat rates honest, which means more power, lower fuel burn, and fewer unplanned outages. Treat filtration like preventive medicine: invisible when it works, painfully obvious when it doesn’t. In the long run, clean air is cheaper than dirty repairs—and far kinder to availability, emissions, and your maintenance team’s sleep schedule.

Solution

Our Condition monitoring equipment has been design to monitor the downstream contamination levels, particle sizes, differential pressure, temperature and humidity.

Scanning the inlet face and presenting a picture of your air performance levels achieved or in some cases not achieved by your expensive filters.

Remote Reporting

By taking out the reporting plan, we at V-GTS can issue you out daily, weekly or monthly reports on how your system is performing, potentially catching any issues early and saving undue wear and cost on your rotating equipment.

The data is sent to our servers by an encrypted secure IOT add on, this can either be linked to the site data connection or an external mobile device

Installation

The kit has been designed to be retrofittable to any filter house, anywhere in the world by our trained team of engineers, offering you the peace and mind that your system is installed and configured correctly.
